An Easy 4-Ingredient Smoothie to Get More Greens Down Your Little One

Our Go-To Green Smoothie: The Green Banana Almond

Now that your little one has grown out of the bottle stage and has turned into a picky toddler, getting them to eat greens can be a challenge.

Fortunately, we've never met a toddler who didn't love this smoothie, and with just 4 ingredients, parents love it too!

Key Ingredients:

  • 1-2 handfuls of kale
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 tablespoon of almond butter
  • Almond milk or milk of choice

Optional Add-ins:

  • cinammon to slow down sugar absorption
  • coconut oil for healthy fats
  • Chia seeds for extra antioxidants
  • ice to taste

Directions:

Add all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until your toddler's desired consistency.

To Serve:

To prevent waste and mess, pour your child's smoothie into the Toddler Tumbler. Our straw's wide design makes it perfect for smoothies, and easy to clean. It's also flow-controlled to prevent spills even when dropped.

Special Thanks:

One day I walked into one of our favorite spots, and asked "What's your most popular smoothie?" When they replied "The Green Banana Almond," I was shocked that something so simple and so green could be so popular!

Thank you to @theplantcafeorganic for creating this tasty, toddler approved recipe!
