Ample time for study and professional development are built into this role. Experience with children and a passion for sustainability are nice to haves.
This position provides the opportunity to take a leadership role at an early stage startup, but it does not provide monetary compensation. Because this role is centered around improving our key performance indicators for all sales and marketing channels, it will be an excellent résumé builder. With our focus on metrics, our Business Development Manager will have had a measurable impact on the company's growth and will have developed a skill set essential for today's economy.
Please note that business development is a broad field. As with any business, we pursue multiple sales and marketing channels at any time. Our key sales channels include our e-commerce website: MasonBottle.com, Amazon.com, and retail stores nationwide. Our target networks for marketing and advertising include Facebook, Instragram, and Pinterest, and our email list. More than one person will be hired for this role, so you can choose 1-3 focus areas that interest you most.
